Michael Bennett (Ngāti Pikiao, Ngāti Whakaue) is an award-winning New Zealand screenwriter, director and author. Michael teaches screenwriting at numerous tertiary institutions, and mentors emerging Māori and Pasifika filmmakers through Script To Screen, Ngā Aho Whakaari and NZFC Fresh Shorts.
